Piedmont is located to the South West of the Northern Forest just
to the West of the Teveh Pass. It was an abandoned Fortress when We found it , its steep sides and single
path entrance make it easy to defend when needed. The Bastille is an ideal place for visiting Friends, traveling
Merchants and the occasional Panther Girl to drop by for a visit.
Piedmont Bastille is a Homestome of Honour, Trust and Love and welcomes A/all until that Honour or Trust is abused.
Once a person has been banned from the Bastille, they very rarely get back in.
W/e are a very small Homestone, but have many vistors and regular F/friends dropping by and although some may see the
Bastille as far to big for a small Family such as O/ourselves but W/we have had quite a few P/people in the Bastille
at the same time.As Y/you can see the Bastille has plenty of room inside and more than enough Tarn pens at the back for O/our
guests and visitors.
With a mostly rocky shore-line the only safe way to get to the Bastille from the sea is to sail up the narrow inlet
and drop anchor there, then travel over land. All approaches to the Bastille can be easily seen from the inside of O/our
Home which is a good thing because Kell the Ubar and Shaheena the Ubara hate unwelcome guests and this gives Them
a chance to lock The Bastille, climb on Their Tarns and take najah Their girl to visit The Black Rose Tavern
or Skagnar Island Fortress until the unwelcome visitor get the message.
Not far from the inlet is a lagoon that is used mainly in the Summer months for out door activities or sometimes
Kell and Shaheena just like to wander down to watch the sun set.
When not at Home in the Bastille Kell, Shaheena and najah can usually be found either in the Black Rose Tavern whick
is owned by Lady Onyx Rose and Sable Rose two close and dear Friends to the Bastille. Kell is Blood Brother to Both of These
Ladies and Onyx performed the Free Companionship Ceremony between Kell and Shaheena.
